Hi everyone. Just thought I would let the supporters of Butterwick Park know that we are currently looking into another Race Night to be held in the very near future to raise funds for the Park. Hope everyone can come and join in as they are loads of fun!
On a separate note, if anyone is interested in helping out on the committee or at any of the events we hold, please contact me on 01205 761162. We would be most grateful.

January 28th/29th 2006 will be a weekend dedicated to planting trees on the park. We would like volunteers to come along and help us (we have in the region of 150 to plant). This is another opportunity for you to feel a part of this fantastic creation for our village.
Please bear in mind that this will be reasonably heavy lifting and moving work in possible inclement weather. Volunteers need to feel fit and healthy enough to help.
On the other hand, donations of sandwiches, tea and coffee would be most welcoming by all those involved!
If you are interested in participating, please call Liz on 01205 761162 after 5pm.

Excellent website - am really looking forward to seeing the park when I'm next back in Butterwick. Brilliant concept - well done to everyone concerned.

Park Equipmemt

There will be a Basketball net and Goal either end of an all weather surface (known as a Kickwall). This will be positioned just behind the hill that seperates the car park from the actual park. There are pictures of this area on the photo gallery.

The park will also incorporate an area for juniors and an area for infants, included in these areas are swings, slides etc. There will also be a Youth Shelter for teenagers and kids to sit in.

Hi i was wondring what facilities would be avaliable at the park. I heard there is going to be a basketball court??

As part of the Web Development Team I would like to hear your views on the website. If there is anything that you find wrong with the website I want to know so it can be improved. A website is meant to satisy the needs of the people who view it and therefore I need your feedback.

Once again the Park Green Project has been very busy organising events, not just to raise money for community area, but for you to have a good time whilst supporting the Park.

On the 13th of May 2005 there will be an evening with a burger meal and your chance to sponsor a tree followed by a Race Night. A bar has also be applied for and will be confirmed at a later date. Tickets are available from Butterwick Post Office and The Five Bells

Adult just £3.50 and Children (under 16) £1.50
(these prices include a Burger Meal)

The Butterwick Gala has unfortunately being canelled due to a problem with the venue.
